Miisha Shimizu (清水美依紗) is a Japanese female soloist from Suzuka, Mie. She made her debut from Virgin Music on April 22, 2022, with the digital single "High Five". She played as Éponine in the Japanese production of Les Misérables in 2024-2025. She also voiced Glinda in the Japanese dubbing of the films Wicked and Wicked: For Good.
She was born in Japan to a Filipino mother and a Japanese father. She began playing the piano and violin at the age of three, inspired by her music-loving mother. She graduated from Doho High School in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, after completing a vocal music course.
In May 2016, she participated in an audition for popular American singer Ariana Grande's visit to Japan under the name Ray, representing the Nagoya region, and was selected for the Judges' Special Prize. She is sometimes referred to as the "Ariana Grande of Mie" because of the similarity of her voice quality in the upper register.
She sang "Beauty and the Beast" at The Karaoke Battle's 86th "National Unified Strongest Singing King Determination Tournament" on September 20, 2017, and won.
In 2018, after graduating from high school, she studied abroad on her own at the New York Film Academy Musical Theatre in New York City, where she studied acting, singing, and dance. After graduating in March 2020, she returned to Japan and began TikTok, where she covered Western music and Disney songs, earning a large following.
In 2021, she became the singing artist for "Starting Now - Atarashii Watashi e", the Japanese theme song for Disney's Ultimate Princess Celebration.
On April 22, 2022, she made her major label debut with the song "High Five" which she wrote herself. In September of the same year, she was selected to play the role of Mamiya in "Fist of the North Star" marking her first foray into musicals, she starred in more musicals after this such as Lydia Deetz in Beetlejuice the Musical, Erina Pendleton in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood and Éponine in Les Misérables.
On August 24, 2022, her second digital single "Niji" was released.
On May 17, 2023, her third digital single "Home" was released. It was later decided as CBC Radio, Power Play, Song of the Month for June 2023.
On October 25, 2023, her fourth digital single "Style" was released.
On January 11, 2024, her fifth digital single "Sugar" was released. It was featured as the theme song for TX drama Patisserie MON which aired on January 10.
On January 21, 2024, it was announced she would voice Glinda in the Japanese dubbing of the films Wicked and Wicked: For Good.

- She and her Les Misérables Éponine and Miss Saigon Kim co-star Lumina (who also debuted as Éponine together with her in the Japanese production of Les Misérables in the same year and as Kim in the Japanese production of Les Misérables the following year) were born two days apart from each other.
- Both she, Tomona Yabiku and Lumina have shared the roles together when playing Éponine in Les Misérables in 2024-2025 and Kim in Miss Saigon in 2026-2027.
