I swear Im usually hella gay..

<p>My high school did Les Mis as its musical this year! I played one of the chain gang members and one of the students! </p>

<p>So although this never made it into the musical, there is a scene before the student build the barricade where some dude shoots an innocent. It is then implied that this is Claquesous, one of the Patron Minette. I feel like this is very uncharacteristic of him. He is described as a shadow, he’s there and then he’s not. It feels wrong that he just joins a rebellion and shoots a dude. Maybe Babet, perhaps, would be more characteristic. </p>

<p>Ok, let's be real here. Gavroche is by far the cutest and youngest character in the play and the movie. His loyalty to his friends and pride for France and he has touched my heart every time I watch the movie. However, I am devastated and horrified when he sacrificed by going in the direct line of fire when collecting ammunition. I am also enraged at the national guardsmen when they laughed at Gavroche before shooting him while he was in the process of collecting ammo and singing a song. </p>

<p>I hardcore ship Enjolras and Eponine. I firmly believe that, given more time, Eponine could get over Marius and fall in love with Enjolras. I also think that if Enjolras had more time, he could fall in love with Eponine as well. And if anyone says that he didn't really notice her, look again. </p>

<p>Who else thinks Enjolras from the 2012 Film is hot? I do. Come on people this is Aaron Tveit we're talking about! </p>

<p>I just... don't. It makes me extremely uncomfortable. >_> I want to know if there are others who feel the same way. This isn't an issue of homophobia, I just... I don't like them together. At all. </p>

<p>Okay, so my school is doing Les Mis and since i am a freshman, I  am just in the ensmble but here is the thing, they are readapting it from French Revelltion to modern day and Black Lives Matter. I really wanted it to be classical so I am thi nking of resigning from my position. It will be weird cuz all the names will be the same and the songs but a different setting... what is your opinion? should I drop it? </p>

<p>The reason that he refers to thénardier by name is because he has been on his own for so long, it is unlikely would think of him as a father. In fact, thénardier gave him away. Even if he remembers being his son, he wouldn't think of him as his father. </p>

Did anyone know that the bishop in the 2012 movie once played Jean Valjean in one of the musicals? If someone does know this can you tell me if it was the last Broadway musicals?

What do you guys think about Marius? In the book? In the musical? In the movie? What do you think of his relationship with Cosette? His function in the Les Amis de'l ABC? Are you happy that he lives to marry Cosette while his friends die? Discuss anything you want about Marius.

<p>I really wish Enjolras never died! Hes my absolute fav character out of everyone in Les Miserables. I wish he never died! The students didnt deserve to die. If those women opened their doors, they couldve survived. But, they were too scared, which I think, is bullcrap. </p>

<p>Hmm... Last time I had a VEEERY strange vision. I started to imagine what would happen if Cosette didn't love Marius, or he didn't love her. What do you think, who would be the best partner/husband for her? </p><p>I had a strange idea about Cosette/Courfeyrac, but it would be too much like Fantine/Tholomyes. I think the best, caring boyfriend for Cosette would be Combeferre. </p>
