Hello! I'm YourLocalTheatreKid (aka le-chevalllll, aka Dotti) and I'm the new administrator on the Les Miserables Wiki! You may have seen me around for quite a while editing, but I've finally decided to gain leadership on this wiki and attempt to bring it back to its former glory

My goals here are to revive this wiki to the fandom hub it used to be. I'm excited to rebuild our community, and after my 30 day trial period is up and I'm made a permanent bureaucrat on the site, I'll begin my outreach program to other sites to encourage new editors, fans, and soon to be admins to join our ranks.

I'm a HUGE fan of both the novel, musical, and just about every adaptation of it out there. I can't wait to rebuild a community to share my love with.

Hello! I'm a young actor about to audition for Les Miserables. I'm really excited, and I'm looking for some tips from people who've been in the show before!

I chose Tommorow (Annie) for my audition song, and I'd be looking for some feedback from that too!

Who is your favorite Eponine

For me it's brick Eponine's death. I can't read that chapter without sobbing.

As far as I remember Marius was part of and fought with Les Amis. I'm not too sure though. He's a Bonarpartist so he might have not gotten along too well with the others, but in the movie this is not mentioned and Marius seems to be close to Enjolras and Les Amis.

Hi! I have a question. Why do people hate/not like Javert? He's my favorite character and his character development is amazing even tho he commits suicide (Which is super sad) Also who do you ship with Marius? I ship him with Eponine

Which you think there are the favourite foods of the characters from les mis ?

If you are not contempt ( pleased) by the outcome of a story, of a book, movie, thetre etc, can you make ypur one story and change it?

Is it allowed to do so, to create a different version of the same story ?

Actually i have seen this done, especially in movies; even the musical is changing sometimes the order of the events, but not the outcome; only the anima some changes are more substantial, and they better are (Javert is not dying, Marius is not such a jerk to finish what Javert started by giving the final blow to Valjean, etc...)

I can't withold myself to not do this, because there still are chapters that make my sorrow and cry everytime i read them. I know it has to be that way, because life is unfair, by default, because people are making wrong decisions, therefore it s not always made not even God's will, i know that we can not do this in real life, to change the cours of the events, he have to cope to the reality, to the decisions that the other are taking, but then what is the purpose of writting, of creating fictional stories?

Is this a tresspass ?

Is this something anyone can do it, or only if is inspired by God?

I've made this challenge on other forums, i wrote a story and ask the other to give it an end. Some of them did.

What would you change in this story, if it was in your power ???

1) the escape from Orion ( toulon, november 1823)

2) the one when the bishop ( Myriel) assist a death sentenced prisoner on his last day/hours before, and then at the very execusion ( part of it is shown in the old french movie with Lino Ventura)

Firstly, hello, I am new here. I want to ask you how you met with "Les Misérables". Let me tell you my story.

In 2008 there was a channel in my country and in that year, this channel used to air "Les Misérables: Shoujo Cosette". I very liked that anime. And from 2008 to 2020, I never could watch that anime again... At the end of 2019, when I seek for the novel "Coraline" in several libraries (I sought for it nearly 1 year), a novel suddenly came to my mind. It was "Moby Dick", I bought its short version from library and read 2 times. Then I borrowed its original version from my uncle and read it (I think I will NEVER read it again). In the following days the past reminded itself me, I thought that anime which I mentioned above. I wanted it from my uncle and read it in 1 whole month (except the last day, I read same number of pages in everyday). I very liked it so I thought "There cannot be a novel better than this". Then I watched all episodes of the anime.

Here, it was my story of how I met with novel "Les Misérables"

Challenge 1

Give first names to all characters that have not ( Enjolras & co, Javert, Thenardiers (?) , even Gavroche - that's only a nickname- and his two little brothers from the book)

Keep in mind that it was possible that some of them were not baptised - Javert as an orphan, Thenardier kids as neglected, so they could choose their own name according to their desires ( especially Javert)
