<p>Personally, I don't think that Enjolras could fall in love with anyone, He loves France and is obsessed with the French Revolution and Republic and he dreams of bringing back that revolution. At least in the novel he is. Sometimes he seems to have lost touch with reality. </p>

<p>Just personally speaking, I think Enjolras is asexual, he don't care the lonely soul, and he don't feel the lust. As a symbol of justice and mercy, he belongs to French Revolution and Republic, but not any man or woman. There is always a higher call ahead of him, even today. Cause in Les Mis, Hugo has described that he respects Feuilly, so I think they have the same goal ' Vivent les peuples ', A man who devote himself to the world‘s great unity MAY not fall in love with anyone. However, I'll respect your thoughts, if you ship them, just do it :) </p>

<p>Hello, Wessa-orJessa? I also do ship Enjolras and Éponine so hard. As in super-duper hardcore. However, certain articles and writings have convinced me to believe that he was, indeed, asexual. If I am not mistaken, he even claimed that his Patria was his own mistress. Personally, I have only shipped them because of Aaron Tveit and Samantha Barks, who played Enjolras and Éponine in the 2012 movie adaptation. I saw a potential romance between them, not realizing that it was actually Aaron and Samantha themselves that I really shipped, and not Enjolras and Éponine. Still and all, a part of me will always ship this forbidden couple. </p>
